He is the President of the NADT (National Association of the Deaf in Thailand). NADT is a member of both the sub-committee for the Rehabilitation of Disabled People and the Board Committee of the APCD (Asia/Pacific Development Centre on Disability). Yongyut Borrisut’s responsibilities include: • To represent the NADT in the policy making and strategy planning for the quality of life of PWDs, particularly on the problems and needs of deaf. • To represent NADT in the budget defense for the Activity plan for deaf at the national, regional and local level. • To develop plans to strengthen the local Deaf Clubs. • To cooperate with organizations that are working to meet the rights of PWDs, both nationally and internationally. • To participate in the development planning of APCD
